just another morning

Here is Liam playing in his jammies with his baby and tools. He told me that the signature on the cabbage patch babies bottom was an owee! (by the way that is my original cabbage patch kid- minus the clothes!

Bubbles?

Here is what Liam did this morning while I was getting ready to wash dishes. He loves to help play in the bubbles!

Rain please!

We finally got our rain barrel installed and now it has stopped raining in Grinnell. Hopefully we will get one good rain that will fill up the barrel so I can start using it for the garden!

A kite flying weekend!

This past Saturday was Kites over Grinnell. The weather cleared for a few hours which allowed everyone to get their kits up and flying. Liam even had a kite to fly (although he liked to let it go and then chase it down!). Some of these kites were huge- almost like hot air balloons! This is an event we will definitely hit every year!

It is too quiet

This morning after reading Liam 5 books I really needed to iron my pants for work. So when he asked for another book I asked him if he could go and read it while I ironed. Liam headed back over to his workbench, book in hand. Well after a bit of playing at the workbench it was totally quiet. I poked my head in the living room and Liam was no where to be found. I headed towards the kitchen and sure enough there he was in his spiderman chair reading his book. (forgive his bedhead in the picture!)
