Breaking news!!!!!!!!!!

Liam successfully used his potty for the first time tonight. Dad had a few tricks up his sleeve. Liam was very excited- let's see if this continues. (this is Liam at 8 months old)

We took Bay Beach by storm on Sunday. We love the fact that all the rides are either 25 or 50 cents! I hadn't been there in years. We saw the Carlson's and our cousins. This is a definite must do in Green Bay!
Bruce and I saw Aaron Rodger's first game as a starter for the Packers on Monday night. The starters looked pretty good. Now we are back in Grinnell getting really for the busy fall and trying to eat up all of our tomatoes from our garden!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion on my dad's side this past weekend. We celebrated Aunt Anita's 70th birthday and my dad's 63rd!

Swimming!

We have participated in three sets of swimming lessons this summer. Liam started out in the toddler class with one of us going in with him and then after 2 sessions got promoted to the preschool class. He was the youngest one there but held his own and loved his teacher, Tracy. We will have to find ways to keep our little fish in the water this winter!
