We have reached the ceiling.

I got this huge bag of legos at the madison resale last fall and put them away for a Christmas present. We almost forgot about them. Daddy likes building almost as much as Liam! What a bargain!

Every Iowa boy needs a farm!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a very fun farm set. Of course the tractor is the biggest hit of all! When we got this set up and Liam started playing with it, he broke out into "farmer in the dell" all the way to the cheese stands alone!

Santa also left a cool garbage truck!

We got home on Christmas day and Santa left Liam what he had been asking for...... a choo choo train!

Finally home

Liam, Cooper, and I made what we thought would be a quick enjoyable trip to GB before Christmas. Unfortunately I came down with Liam's daycare cough, sneeze, goopy eyes (so I wasn't a whole lot of help or fun!). And WI got record December snows, so we ended up having to stay a bit longer than anticipated. Thanks for putting up with the sickos! Liam and Cooper were troopers to make sure a long trip!

First snowman of the season

We had just cut the grass before it snowed, thus our snowman is a bit furry with grass clippings!

Hunting for a Christmas tree

We braved the cold wind last weekend to find our Christmas tree. Liam is very into Christmas and would like Santa to bring him a choo choo train. I think Santa might being listening!

A few funny sayings we have been hearing around the house.

Liam walked into the upstairs bathroom where we have a big poster of Obama from my sister. Liam looked at it and said- "there is Barack O-grandma". He was close.

This morning at the grocery store it was a constant: "goodness gracious" (I better watch myself)

And today as I was decorating for the holidays; "that is cute"
